Summer is my favorite time of year. One reason is I love my pool time. Nothing is more relaxing after work. The second? I love gardening!!! The planting, the tending and especially the harvesting. Fresh veggies make the best meals. Or in this case, an appetizer.
Fresh jalapeños can add such flavor to so many dishes. But one of my all time favorite……. “Jalapeños Poppers”. The recipe I am sharing today I will call Patti Poppers because I am adding one of Patti’s dip mixes into the cream cheese for an extra pop of flavor.
Patti’s dip mixes are so versatile. They are not just to dip your chips in. I will be sharing lots of recipes using those mixes. But for now let's get back to the Patti’s Poppers. They are such a tasty little treat. This recipe I added Patti’s Bacon, Bacon, Who’s got the Bacon Dip mix. The bacon and herbs of the dip mix, added to my normal recipe, was just an amazing flavor enhancement. And that’s what it’s all about. So if you don’t have a garden then head to the store to get ya some fresh jalapeños and other ingredients listed on the menu card below.
